Cottage Description
Don’t let its size fool you, this cute and cosy barn has been designed to create the perfect retreat for couples. It’s a comfortable and intimate space where you can relax, switch off, and enjoy some time together on the West Wales coast.
The barn combines rustic character with modern comforts, featuring exposed stone walls, warm oak finishes, soft mood lighting, and smart home technology including Loxone-controlled lighting, heating, and passcode entry.
The open-plan living area has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, smart TV, dining table for two, and a cosy log burner. Whether you’re enjoying a lazy morning coffee, curling up by the fire on a winter’s evening, or settling in with a film after a day exploring the coast, it’s a lovely space to spend time together.
The bedroom features a low oak bed with ambient lighting around the headboard and open wardrobe space. The bathroom includes a walk-in shower for a little extra luxury.
Outside, there’s a spacious patio with sea and garden views. It’s a great place to enjoy breakfast, a glass of wine in the evening, or simply sit back and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
We’re just a short walk from Mwnt Beach and a 10-minute drive from Cardigan for shops, restaurants, and supplies. Please note that seasonal dog restrictions apply on Mwnt Beach between May and September.
Following feedback from our guests, we’ve chosen to trial a Netflix subscription instead of renewing our BBC TV Licence, as many preferred access to streaming services over live television.
Check-in and check-out days are Mondays and Fridays. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
This is a new barn conversion, so we’re still finishing a few minor touches. The bedroom features a low sleeper bed and has restricted head height, with a maximum height of approximately 2.1 metres to the ridge and some low exposed beams. This holiday let shares an adjoining wall with a neighbouring two-bedroom barn conversion and has a shared garden area.

What time can I check in to the cottage?
Check in time is anytime after 3pm.
Can we do 2 night breaks?
I’m afraid not, we have a minimum of 3 nights.
What do I have to bring?
You need to bring everything you would normally bring on holiday but groceries as well. We supply your typical bedding, towels, all kitchen essentials unless you tick the ‘Bring your own bedding’ Discount during checkout.
Is this cottage dog friendly?
We welcome up to 4 well-behaved dogs. If you’d like to bring more, please get in touch. Please also read our terms and conditions regarding dogs.
Is it disabled friendly?
I’m afraid not at this time. We are looking at renovating other cottages in the future to allow for wheelchair access.
