The Barn

This cosy and stylish space is perfect for couples or small families looking to relax and unwind. The barn has been carefully designed with a mix of rustic charm and modern comforts, including smart home features like Loxone lighting, heating and passcode entry.

Inside, you’ll find exposed stone walls, warm oak panelling, and soft mood lighting throughout. There’s a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a comfy living area with a smart TV, and a solid oak dining table that seats four.

The bedrooms have low oak beds with ambient lighting around the headboards and shared wardrobe space. The bathroom features a large walk-in shower for a little extra luxury.

Outside, there’s a spacious patio with sea and garden views along with a Swedish wood fired Hot Tub! It’s a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee or a peaceful evening.

We’re just a short walk from Mwnt Beach and a 10-minute drive to Cardigan for shops, restaurants, and supplies. Mwnt Beach has dog restrictions in place from May to September. We ran a poll on our social media and most of our guests said they’d prefer a streaming service over live TV. So instead of renewing our BBC TV Licence, we’re trialling a Netflix subscription instead.

Check in/Check Out days are Mondays or Fridays. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.

*This is a new barn conversion, so we’re still finishing a few minor touches (like painting etc). The bedrooms feature low sleeper beds and have restricted head height — 2.1 metres to the ridge — with some low exposed beams. This holiday let shares an adjoining wall with a neighbouring 1-bedroom barn conversion.

Welcome to The Lookout Cottage in Mwnt. A stunning coastal retreat that we have been working tirelessly on to ensure that your stay is as pleasant as possible. This charming cottage boasts a comfortable and spacious living area that can accommodate up to four guests, with a master bedroom featuring a cozy double bed and a second bedroom with twin beds.

Our large, fully-equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing delicious meals during your stay, while the lounge area is a relaxing space to unwind and enjoy the breathtaking views of the sea and the picturesque Mwnt church. If you’re lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of dolphins right from the cottage, with the help of our provided binoculars.

The patio area is a true gem of The Lookout Cottage, offering a perfect setting to spend your evenings while taking in the stunning sunsets and indulging in BBQ-cooked food. And with only a 10-minute walk to the nearby Mwnt Beach, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to soak up the sun and explore the surrounding areas.

If you’re looking to venture further out, Cardigan is just a 10-minute drive away, offering an array of supermarkets, shops, and restaurants for your convenience.

We also understand that for many travellers, their furry companions are an important part of the family. That’s why we are happy to welcome well-behaved dogs, with a limit of up to four dogs. If you’d like to bring more please get in touch.

We are part of the Caravan and Motorhome club and have a site for 5 tourers. We are currently grass pitches with a fresh water point and an emptying point (We do not have a drive over emptying point, we have a green Elsan toilet to empty into). We have a mowed area for our pitches which enjoy brilliant sea views over Mwnt.
